It is 45 years since Nadia Comăneci managed to achieve a perfect 10 in a qualification in gymnastics, never before had such a score been achieved. The petite girl glory in an Olympic Games.
I think I've commented a few other times that I kind of like gymnastics, and I also admire Simone Biles, but what the girls achieve now is cemented on the shoulders of what their predecessors did.
Comăneci has posted on her social networks photos of an exact replica of the jersey she wore at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where she went down in sports history. In addition to that you can see on the seat part of the car the medal that Comăneci got in the sporting feat.
Se cumplen 45 años desde que Nadia Comăneci logró alcanzar un 10 perfecto en una calificación en la gimnasia, nunca antes se había alcanzado tal puntuación. La menuda chica la gloria en unos juegos olímpicos.
Creo que ya he comentado en algunas otras ocasiones que me gusta un poco la gimnasia, y que también admiro a Simone Biles, pero lo que logran las chicas de ahora se cimientan sobre los hombros de lo que hicieron sus antecesores.
Comăneci ha publicado en sus redes sociales fotos de una réplica exacta de la maillot que usó en los juegos olímpicos de Montreal 1976, en donde pasó a la historia del deporte. Adicional a eso se ve en la parte del asiento del auto la medalla que Comăneci consiguió en la gesta deportiva.

Nadia Comăneci
A slender fourteen-year-old girl achieved something that no one had been able to do until then achieve a perfect ten on a routine on the uneven bars. The perfect ten did not exist until then, perfection was not for humans, nor for machines as the digital board was not programmed to reflect the ten.
A little Romanian girl had broken that paradigm, with a faint smile on her face, she showed what she was made for and what she had been practicing for so long. Something that was not prepared for Comăneci was the board for as I said, it failed to show Nadia's ten instead showed 1.00, thus reflecting perfection back then.

Una delgada chica de catorce años logró algo que nadie había podido hacer hasta ese entonces lograr un diez perfecto en una rutina en las barras asimétricas. El diez perfecto no existía hasta ese entonces, la perfección no era para los humanos, ni para las maquinas pues el tablero digital no estaba programado para reflejar el diez.
Una pequeña chica rumana había roto ese paradigma, con una tenue sonrisa en su rostro, demostró que estaba hecha y para que había estado practicando por tanto tiempo. Algo que no estaba preparado para Comăneci era el tablero pues como dije, no pudo mostrar el diez de Nadia en vez mostró 1.00, así se reflejó la perfección en ese entonces.
The little girl had come to surprise everyone as she went on to get a total of six perfect 10's at the Montreal Olympics, awarding her with five medals, three of which were gold.
Nadia Comăneci's was a total madness never seen before in the world of gymnastics, had she lived at this time Comăneci would have been viral on every internet site, on every social network and her routines would have had millions of reproductions on Youtube in a few hours. The girl managed to inspire other girls who would ask their parents to get her into gymnastics.
Perhaps this is the greatest legacy of Comăneci and any other athlete or public figure to inspire others to be like one.
Nadia's success was such that she has been awarded countless accolades, received the Olympic Order twice, been named one of the most influential women of the 20th century and has been a member of the Gymnastics Hall of Fame since 1993.
La pequeña chica había llegado para sorprender a todo el mundo pues llego a conseguir un total de seis 10 perfectos en los juegos olímpicos de Montreal, adjudicándola con cinco medallas, tres de ellas fueron de oro.
Lo de Nadia Comăneci fue una locura total nunca antes vista en el mundo de la gimnasia, de haber vivido en esta época Comăneci hubiese sido viral en cada sitio de internet, en cada red social y sus rutinas hubieran tenido millones de reproducciones en Youtube en pocas horas. La chica logró inspirar a otras niñas quienes pedían a sus padres que la metieran a estudiar gimnasia.
Quizás este sea el más grande legado de Comăneci y cualquier otro deportista o figura publica el de inspirar a otros a ser como uno.
El éxito de Nadia fue tal que ha sido galardonada como con un sinnúmero de reconocimientos, ha recibido dos veces las Orden Olímpica, además de ser nombrada como una de las mujeres más influyentes del siglo XX y desde el año 1993 es parte del salón de la fama de la gimnasia.
I could talk a lot about Nadia who was called the "Fairy" because there is a lot to talk about that girl with a strong and stoic face, there are some books about her life and many incredible stories about her life.
Perhaps not so incredible because we know how was the communist regime of that time, Nadia lived in her own flesh, what it was like to be a victim of the regime of the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, among other things an intervention in her house, spying and total surveillance of the girl, who was followed everywhere.
