Liverpool Wins; Takeaway from tonight's game against Fulham.

I just watched Liverpool squeeze out a win in style against Fulham. This is coming off the back of the win we got last weekend against Arsenal. Wow! I'm buzzing right now with excitement.

This game was a rollercoaster ride for Liverpool. It's a typical game of two halves. The first half of the game was horrible for Liverpool. We were very unorganized and we played in a way that makes you wonder if this is Jurgen Klopp's squad.

The second half was a half of awakening for us. It started rather slowly, but the lads grew into the game, and BAM! We started banging in goals. The main stats for the game are highlighted in the screenshot below;

Now, let's dig deep into the key takeaways from this game.

Firstly, we gifted Fulham that first game. We were obviously under a lot of pressure in the first half of the game and we lost touch of the ball in the final third of the opposition. However, that goal we conceded was due to a defensive stinker at the back. VVD headed the ball into the feet of the opposition and that's the sort of error you rarely see from Big Virg.

Secondly, this Bradley lad is legit. I had the pleasure of watching Bradley in the 20 minutes he played against Arsenal. I thought he would be smoked by Martinelli, but that wasn't the case. He got to play for 90 minutes today and I'm very confident about what the lad brings to the team. His 1v1 defending is lit. Bradley is the truth.

Thirdly, the timing of that double pivot attacking substitution from the gaffer is electric. Klopp was quite stubborn last season and his substitutions showed that. However, I'm genuinely full of praise for the gaffer and his subs this season. His subs have secured a lot of points for us and that's exactly the case in tonight's fixture. The moment Gravenberch and Elliot were replaced by Nunez and Gakpo, it completely changed the game for us.

Lastly, the mentality of these guys is overflowing right now. Can you imagine Liverpool getting these wins in games even in the absence of very important folks like Salah, TAA, Robbo, Szobo, and Endo? We still squeeze out wins and I'm happy with the result. I'm not over the moon, but I like what the lads are doing.

Happy days for us. Haha.
