Liverpool 1 - 0 Fulham; A hard-fought victory in Anfield.

It feels very satisfactory to watch a game where Liverpool completely whooped their opponents, but it kinda feels good to also see them put up an average performance and still get the maximum points from the game. That's exactly the vibe I got after watching the game that was just played between Liverpool and Fulham.

Liverpool 1 - 0 Fulham

It's not just about this game... Our recent games have been interesting in several ways. I love how we are winning even when it involves winning in an ugly way. I would have started to give myself hope about our chances of qualifying for next season's UCL, but that seems to be already out of the window.

For now, all we can do is win all the games that are left for the season and see how the rest of the clubs perform in their fixtures.

About tonight's fixture;

Unlike the game we played last weekend with Tottenham, this particular game seems to have very little things to talk about. Just a goal scored from the penalty spot. And, there was no booking for either Liverpool or Fulham.

I wouldn't say either of the teams schooled the other. Liverpool were lucky to keep a clean sheet in that game. Fulham had a couple of good chances, but they couldn't capitalize on those. Liverpool on the other hand had a whole lot of chances and it's still a surprise they ended this game with only one goal. The good news though is that a goal was enough for them to win the game.

For this particular fixture, my standout performer is TAA. The young lad is bossing the midfield and he gives the vibe of a new signing. Haha. He works his socks off in that midfield and I'm glad he got the 'Man of the Match award' for this game.

This game was quite interesting and stressful at the same time, but we got the job done. Now, I'm looking forward to our weekend game against Brentford. A win wouldn't be bad.
