7-goal thriller in Anfield; The chicken dance couldn't save Tottenham

The game we just saw this evening between Liverpool and Tottenham is as funny as it can ever get, depending on which side of the team you are supporting.

I mean, how many times do you get to see football Managers pull their hamstring while celebrating a late winner? That's exactly what happened to Kloop and I can't believe I laughed so hard at that. Haha. He also got booked after the celebration. That makes it funnier because we redmen are having the last laugh. We also got to receive the famous fist pumps from the gaffer after the game.

This game was one heck of a rollercoaster ride and it's genuinely going to take longer than a while for me to recover from the rush of emotions I felt watching the game. I was watching this and saying to myself;

This is the most Liverpool thing you will ever see.

This is Liverpool for you. They will give you a win, but not without turning you inside out. Who gives up a 3-goal lead and even concedes an extra time equalizer only to turn things 360° and get the maximum points at the very last moment of the game? Haha.

That's just Liverpool being Liverpool and I can never get used to it, but I love the feeling. I honestly do. Carve that win on my skin. Haha.

This is also the most Tottenham thing you will ever see.

Oh, my! I genuinely feel bad for my Korean boy, Sonny, who has been doing so much in Tottenham. Kane also deserves something better than the usual near-success syndrome that Tottenham is known for.

You know, there are not many clubs that are capable of coming from 3 goals deficit to get an equalizer in the 90+3 minute of a game and still manage to lose the game moments later. It gets more interesting when you factor in the circumstances surrounding that equalizer. Tell me you didn't miss that well-choreographed chicken dance which we got from Richarlison. Haha.

Lemme cut to the chase already...

These are the major events that played out in tonight's game;

It's been a while since I saw that kinda first 20 minutes performance from Liverpool. We started the game right from kick-off, with absolute fire, and we were able to clinically bury 3 out of the chances that were created. It was a phenomenal start to the game, but the last 20 minutes of the first half was mehhh. It was as if a different Liverpool were on the field of play. We went to bed and got punished.

Their first goal which was scored in the 40th minute came as a really big surprise. I thought VVD had that covered, but Perisic sat him down like a little Dutch schschool boy. It was an embarrassing moment for Big Virg. Yeah, he slipped, but I'm not making that excuse for him. He needs to wake up and command that backline like he did a few seasons ago.

Tottenham were not laughing in the second half. They started it with intense energy, but their luck sucked. They couldn't get it right with their finishes. I know Sonny will feel gutted with himself because he hitted the woodwork too many times. Imagine what would have been the case if those woodworks turned out to be on target. Hehe.

Just think about that for a second...

While there are several things to talk about in today's game, I genuinely think the referee had an atrocious game from both sides. He got so many decisions wrong and had both managers, fans and players yelling at him. He won't be forgetting this game anytime soon.
