Does La Liga President Have An Agenda Against FC Barcelona

Source

There is an ongoing battle between FC Barcelona and La Liga President Javier Tebas over the renewal of Gavi's contract in the winter transfer window. FC Barcelona renewed Gavi's contract in the final days of the January transfer window, but before Barcelona could renew Gavi's contract they had an issue with La Liga authority, the authorities under Javier Tebas did not accept the document for Gavi's renewal and were not willing to hear the club out.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta took the case to court and the court ordered the La Liga authority to accept FC Barcelona's proposal and register Gavi as a first-team player for FC Barcelona. It's been a month since FC Barcelona renewed Gavi, but now the La Liga President has come out and said he will not accept the renewal and will go to court to get an appeal on the case if he succeeds Gavi will leave Barcelona as a free agent in the summer transfer window.

Javier Tebas has always had an agenda against FC Barcelona and it is coming to light now, he was the same man that almost stopped Messi from being registered as a first-team player in 2004 and is the same man that made FC Barcelona let Messi go for free in 2021.

Tebas should cut Barcelona some slack, yes FC Barcelona were irresponsible in the past in spending funds and having huge wage bills which lead to their financial ruin in 2021, but Laporta has stepped in and has made sure big wages have been cut down and has shown transparency to the La Liga authorities on how the club is managing it's financed and has also controlled it's spending in the transfer window.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has given his response and is ready to go to court and defend the registration of Gavi as a first-team player. Laporta said he will do whatever it takes and he won't be intimidated by anyone, I trust Laporta and I know he will win the court case, he has shown he loves the club and has put the club as his top priority.

I just hope FC Barcelona wins the case if Tebas is still willing to go to court so that Laporta can get this issue behind the club and get his attention elsewhere. So guys that will be all for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
