Liverpool did as expected from them in their fourth match of the season, they outclassed Leeds United right in front of their home crowd and it was a fantastic performance from Jurgen Klopp men.

I was expecting a win but not a flawless one due to how Leeds challenged Liverpool last season in the English Premier League. Both sides met twice last season and none was easy for Liverpool as they squeezed three points at Anfield and one point at Elland Road, none of the matches can be compared to Leeds's performance today because they were completely out of shape against Liverpool.

Both teams started strong but Liverpool got the opening goal of the match, the forward found his way through the defense to convert Alexander Arnold's pass into a goal. The goal marked his 100th in the English Premier League and it must have been a dream come through for the Egyptian.

The two teams went on and on to get more out of the game but the first half eventually ended with a lone goal for Liverpool, thanks to Salah for taking the chances when he had it.

The second half started quite well for both sides as they went on in search of goals but Liverpool played more confidently probably because they had a goal at hand, the search went on and it eventually ended with Liverpool getting another goal.

Fabinho got Liverpool second of the evening in the 50th minute of the match, the goal kept Leeds further away from getting a point from the match.

The Spoiler.

Leeds high spirit went more down when Strujik got a red card for a hard tackle on Liverpool's Elliott, the young midfielder was injured from the tackle and it saw him leave the field on a stretcher.

The player later shared an image on Instagram thanking everyone for showing in love and support.

I am wishing him a quick recovery. His reaction scared the hell out of me and the camera not showing us what was happening made things very suspenseful for me but thank goodness he is doing pretty well now.

The good thing was that Leeds didn't allow the red card to stop them from attacking, they went all out wide and still paid great attention to what was happening behind. Every effort from them didn't give a goal, they did a great thing trying even if it didn't come.

Liverpool went on to get another in the additional minutes, it would have been terrible if Sadio Mane didn't get a goal after so many wasted chances in the match. The forward converted Thiago Alcantara's pass into a goal in the 92nd minutes of the match, it ended with no goal for Leeds and three for Liverpool.

Liverpool has returned to the top, they now have the same points as Manchester United and Chelsea who also got a victory in their weekend fixtures. Leeds on the other hand still sits in the red zone after playing four matches without a win.
