Cristiano Ronaldo opened his scoring record with United against Newcastle United, he is just so unstoppable on the field of play despite his age. The Portuguese forward would eventually set records that will take forever to be broken if he continues playing this way.

Ronaldo joined United again from Juventus a few weeks ago, it was a move many weren't expecting but it happened fast and his return has brought so much attention not just to Manchester United but to the English Premier League as well.

We expected to him play before the International break but he didn't feature for the team until today.

Newcastle were thrashed 4 - 1 at Old Trafford even though they showed to be a strong opponent in the first half of the match. United couldn't get a goal until the final minutes of the first half when Ronaldo struck the net. Much was expected from him and the goal gave a lot of fans the confidence that they still had the old-time Ronaldo who will get goals at all cost.

Newcastle got an equalizer eleven minutes into the second half but it didn't count for long.

Ronaldo doubled United lead in the 62nd minute of the match, the brace sent the echo of his name across the league. A brace on his debut would mean a lot to his fans around the world.

His countryman, Bruno Fernandez got the third goal for United to put an equalizer far from Newcastle's reach. It didn't end at that, Jesse Lingard who came in as a substitute for Sancho also got a goal in the added minutes of the second half.

The victory became United third victory this season and it was a great welcoming match for Cristiano Ronaldo.
