De Gea saved United from another full-time heartbreak.

What a great game that went down at the London Stadium between West Ham United and Manchester United, it was a suspenseful one especially with the late dramas that happened in the final minute of the match.

United needed a victory at all cost after what happened during the weekend against Young Boys in the Uefa Champions League. The team needed the victory to restore their confidence and clear the fan's doubts as well.

The victory came but wasn't an easy ride for United as West ham shook the team left and right but United was equal to the task as well.
West Ham got the opening goal from Benrahma strike in the 30th minute of the encounter but the celebration didn't last long as Cristiano got an equalizer for United just five minutes after.

It ended 1 - 1 at halftime.

The second half kicked off with both sides searching for the lead again but both team defenses were up to the task as the strikers weren't able to find the net.

The coach started making changes and the United manager seems to be fortunate with bringing on Lingard who spent his previous season on loan with West Ham United. The English forward got his chances and took it wisely which led to a goal, the strike put United in front for the first time in the match.

The late drama.

In an attempt to get an equalizer, West ham went all attacking against United. They finally got a penalty after Luke Shaw unintentionally stopped a cross with his arm, it was the perfect opportunity to get an equalizer and end the match since the additional minutes were almost up.

West Ham manager, David Moyes made a quick substitution to bring in someone he was confident about when it comes to taking a penalty but it didn't work out for him. Noble was brought in but he couldn't get the job done, he played the ball to the right side of the match, and De Gea was quick to punch away.

The goalkeeper saved his side from another end of the match heartbreak and United would be glad that they were able to squeeze all three points from the encounter.
