Can Liverpool prove supremacy again?

We saw lots of action went down in the English Premier League yesterday, the goals, the celebration, the cards, and others made the game quite interesting.

Cristiano Ronaldo return to Manchester United has brought more fame to the league, it baffles me how he moves with his crowd club to club. Fortunately for him, he was able to mark his ground in his debut match.

To the main point of the post.

Liverpool would be facing off against Leed United later today, the Kops would be playing away from Anfield.

It is too early to judge how much improvement Jurgen Klopp's side has made since the terrible seasons they had last season due to injuries of their major players but getting seven points out of nine shows how much they have prepared for the season challenge.

Leeds returned to the Premier League last season and have maintained a good record last season but things don't seem to be going as planned for them in the league. They currently sit one spot away from the relegation zone but it is too early to condemn them to relegation already because they have a tough fighting spirit and would hopefully better than they did in the previous season.

The two sides met twice last season in the English Premier League and it was a tough one, a performance you wouldn't expect from a newly promoted team.

The leg ended with a victory for Liverpool, both teams scored seven goals altogether and that should tell you how high the team spirit was. Leed scored three times as they put Liverpool in a tight post but the team experience and individual brilliance gave Liverpool all three points with Van Djik scoring a goal and Salah getting a hat trick which I hope he does the same again.

Leeds stood their ground in the second leg that ended in a 1-1 draw, this would be their third meeting since they returned, and judging from the performance so far, Liverpool has the higher percentage of winning the match despite playing away.

The match would kick off in an hour and a few minutes from now, the image below is the possible lineup from the live score app.
