Eupen vs Antwerp
Eupen obviously has performed well now being 3rd in the standings. They broke their winning streak in week 6 with a 1-2 loss against Seraing and I see them as a team that potentially has been overperforming. Antwerp on the other hand has been underperforming in the first 6 weeks as they have many new players and was still looking for a good form. Purely based on player quality though they should be one of the better teams in the league and I expect good things going forward from this team if they can get themselves in a good run. Eupen has generally played better worse in their home team while Antwerp as a team has been better in away teams. Based purely on the intrinsic quality, I am leaning toward Antwerp who is getting a line that seems to be just a bit too much based on the results of the first 6 weeks. I have been thinking about it all week thinking I would have enough time with the odds even going up from 1.81 to as high as 2.00 on the +0 to see it come down now to 1.746. I'm cautiously split 0.4 units between bets on

Zulte-Waregem vs Cercle Brugge
Zulte-Waregem currently is in 10th place coming off a win and a draw after being relatively unlucky in the first couple of matches of the season without them overly impressing. I see them as a team who can be backed away as the underdog especially at high odds as shown in the previous match against Oostende. So far they are 0.5W-2L at home but 3W-0L away. For their opponents Cercle Brugge, this is also the case going 0W-2.5L at hie and 2W-1L away. Last season Zulte-Waregem was also bad at home but that mostly had to do with their horrible pitch. This season they played Standard at home where they got unlucky and Club Brugge who were just way better. Cercle Brugge this season has been pretty poor and showed that they are nothing special. They are in 16th place with 3 losses in a row even though they are one of the teams with the least goals. I expect Zulte-Waregem to be the team with most of the initiative and Cercle laying back luring on the counters. I'm torn between seeing big value on Zulte-Wargem +0 as the slight underdog and seeing it as one of the crazy non-sensical situations which fits Cercle in a system of exactly these situations I was planning to test this season. the 10th in the league playing at home, coming of a draw and a win against the 16th in the league who are on a 3-game losing streak and the away team is the favorite ??? On one side, it screams huge value on Zulte while at the same time the market indicates Cercle in every way possible. I put more importance on the market which makes me stay far away from this match for now. There is no obligation to take bets and I'm gladly skipping a situation like this.
