As a Newcastle fan I'll be keeping an eye on this tournament. Although we are light on African players in the current squad I have fond memories of following the progress of some of our former players in the AFCON. Hopefully, our new ownership will be sending scouts there too to see if we can find any of the continent's brightest prospects.
