Yellow Paper Wasp (Polistes flavus)

The Yellow Paper Wasp is the species of Polistes flavus. It belong to Vespidae family. The color of his body is totally Yellow that help to separate this wasp from the other species. We can easily identify this wasp through his body color. it is the harmful wasp. I know very well because many time this wasp has bite me. we can found these wasp easily at the water place and on the flowers etc.

Yellow Paper Wasp have six legs and three eyes. we can easily see these eyes on the top of his head in the picture. I found this wasp on the flowers. Yellow paper wasp are the social insects. Paper wasps have one queen in the colony, she guide the other members of colony.
