Se trata de un Insecto llamado científicamente como Buprestis aurulenta, y es una especie de escarabajo del género Buprestis,pueden sobrevivir por largos períodos en la madera seca.
Lo encontré en el patio tracero de la casa. Al tocarlo pude confirmar la dureza de su caparazón y debajo sus alas.
