A SHORT INTERLUDE WITH SPIDER IN ACTION

I had a lot to do today ... and quite a few places to go ...

(Enlargeable)

... and my busy Sunday it's still unusually dynamic ... so I took an old photograph to calm my obsessive urge to publish at least one post a day ... with this short macro interlude with the Argiope lobata spider. The insect called Ant - lion (Distoleon tetragrammicus) was caught in the web, and the spider is proceeding to envelop the prey.

As always in these posts on HIVE, even the extremely short ones, the enlargeable photograph is my work - bye, bye :D I have to fly.
