Es gibt noch so einiges, was man Bill Withers auf ewig anrechnen muss. Etwa, dass er sich mit Anstand aus seiner Starkarriere zurückgezogen hat, keine Skandale, keine Drogen, kein Twitterfeed, null, niente. Er hat einfach nur aufgehört als es am schönsten war. Mitten in all dem Wahnsinn in und um Corona ist er jetzt auch noch gestorben mit 81 Jahren an einem Herzinfarkt. Kinder, die Welt wird ärmer.
There's still a lot of things to give Bill Withers credit for in the long run. Like the fact that he retired from his star career with decency, no scandals, no drugs, no Twitter feed, zero, niente. He just quit when it was at its best. In the midst of all the madness in and around Corona, he has now also died of a heart attack at the age of 81. Guys, the world is getting poorer.
