Today I'm playing for you solo from This Sacrament "The Politics of Ecstasy" album of my favorite band NEVERMORE. They inspire me to pick up my guitar and hope one day I'll be able to play as good as Jeff Loomis .Rest in Peace, Warrel Dane, one of the greatest vocalists ever!
been obsessed with Jeff Loomis lately. thought i'd tackle one of his easier ones before trying to figure out some of the toughest stuff like his solo record and the last nevermore album. this is still a pretty tricky solo though. i eight-taked this solo, but it repeats and i nail it the second time around.

I'd been listening to a lot of Nevermore recently and was trying to decide between this song or something off of Dreaming Neon Black. Actually "Behind Four Walls" is pretty great too. But anyways - this song has a pretty driving riff and I like the lyrics, but let's be honest...it's all about the solo haha🔥
I recently saw Jeff perform this song on his instagram channel and was inspired to do a cover for this grinding track
I didn't play standing up in years, so as a little challenge for myself, I perform the entire track standing and in one go. So fun to play Jeff Loomis is a god and my idol.
