Longest River of Mauritius!

This was like a surprise visit...nothing planned!

While driving past the longest river of Mauritius, I got that crazy idea to go to visit the Beau Champ waterfalls...

Not a big one...but its location makes it unique...the only way to see this beauty was to take a 20 minutes boat ride!!!

Some of the family members are just scared to get on a boat...finally only 16 of us got on the boat out of 25!

The calm waters of the river...and the different tales from the boat skipper...hmmm made it a little spooky, but that's the fun in such adventure!

The greenery around was just amazing...we even found some monkeys on the trees!

You can take a big boat which cost around 6usd per person or if you are daring enough...rent a kayak (20usd for an hour) and go for it!

We all preferred the boat...if we had to die...we die together!!!

There has been quite some accidents happening on this river where lives have been lost in the past due to carelessness of both the skipper and the passengers!

After the long 20 minutes ride...we finally reached there...

What a view...we even saw some people diving over there...what a courage! How the heck do they do that!?!

Though we were little scared...but happy to have finally discovered the Beau Champ waterfalls live n direct for the first time ever!

Cameras...Smart phones...all were ready to click the max we can...as we are not sure to come here again soon!

I call this...a once in a lifetime experience!

My daughter was so excited and I actually did this ride mainly for her...this is one trip she will always remember when looking at the pics!

So finally she visited this place at the age of 6 and my at 36!!!

She has 30yrs advance on her dad! Lol!!!

Despite everything, I highly recommend people visiting Mauritius to check out this spot, if you are an adventurous person...you'll be very happy!
