I love Nordic mythology, which affects so many fantasy novels in many ways. And, this fountain motief is a nordic god, Thor is fighting against Jörmungandr, the sea serpent. I feel very inspired that ancient Vikings have so much imagination.

It is so interesting to read nordic mythology, and I am reading an Icelandic saga about nordic mythology now. After I visited Birka, the Viking ruin, I fell in love with nordic mythology and Viking history. And also, I realized that there are so many designs that are inspired by Nordic mythology in Stockholm and in Sweden in general.
I love Final Fantasy, the role-playing game, which is created by SquareEnix. And, they got so much inspired by Nordic mythology as well. This fountain in Maria Square reminded me of playing the Final Fantasy series when I was a kid, and well, I am still playing the FF series. LOL!
