We are dealing with Logistics here plain and simple. One has cost, supply and resources that all need to be tended to with a deft hand. I feel that there is a lot in this chapter that can be applied to today. To right now. This Covid-19 epidemic and the subsequent quarantine have a lot of businesses, both large and small reeling.
Shelves sit product less. There are warehouses full. There are too many workers, but not enough labor. No one could have foreseen what has happened. With careful planning and execution the burden to the people could have been lessened, could still be lessened. I won't get political. The short of it is we are in need of better planning and better logistics.
