An unknown planet

Link

The prying eyes of the snow leopard as he watched the activities on that unknown planet. The multitude of people, like ants, going about their tasks. He scanned them for hours before he found what he was looking for. A shimmer, a distorted image, a mirage where it had not been before.

The image was of a young boy and a warrior woman who had rescued him. The leopard had witnessed that event and knew that the warrior woman would be easy to find. He snarled, and sent his true warriors to the location where their target was found.

Once they had the information needed, the true warriors, in their vessel, sent the coordinates to the home planet. The leopard instructed his warriors to track the target to his new safe haven. He did not know where that was but there were enough telepaths in his army to search for the warrior woman and her charge.

The home planet would be able to recover the unique warrior, they did not know what kind of creature she was but the leopard did. The warrior woman would be able to provide the knowledge of humans for the leopard's armada. The location of the planet and the means to destroy it would be dependent on her compliance.

The leopard was to help the female obtain her goal, or she would remain a prisoner on his ship for another 100 years. The child would be given a life on one of the planets under the leopard's control, and the warrior woman would be a guest on the mother planet, where she would never see her child again. The leopard could be ruthless if he had to be, and there was a need for control in this new world.

The few showing signs of rebelliousness would be taken and used for the purpose it would take to bring back the world of their forefathers. The leopard had plans for the chosen children of the warrioress. He knew that they would make very helpful allies for the future.

He couldn't understand how the warriors had been able to find a weapon, but he would not interfere. He could not be seen within the people's eyes and they had the technology to deal with a weapon.

On the next trip, the leopard, who was also known as the White Wolf, would take his own ship and meet the warrior woman on another planet. He would do his best to help her, but would do so secretly too.

The ship would be equipped with telepathic ability to make friends and enemies alike much easier, but he would not be able to communicate with the warriors that would be on the ground. The ships would stay out of scanner range in the atmosphere and land the warriors in a hidden area for recon. The leopard would re-enter the atmosphere once the warriors had established the needed information. He would send down another ship, from the mother planet, to take the warriors and the captured warrior woman back to the homeworld.

The leopard slowly turned his ship and headed for the predicted location of the female warrior and her charge.

The warrior woman gently rocked the child she had found. The temperature controls in the cave were regulated by the child to keep the correct temperature. She had never been so cold in the snow. It wasn't like this in her galaxy.

The child was awake, or had recently been awake. She looked over at him, watching the slow changes in movement when he woke. Her eyes went to the child that had pulled her from the deep snow. His hand was long fingers, the size of her own, and the color of her hair. He wore a garment that covered his body, as did her people. It was a medium brown color in color and the fabric was very soft. The fabric seemed to be very warm as she gazed at it.

"Are we safe here?" she asked the child. The child appeared to be around six years old, a boy in his early years. His hair looked white in the light from the cave entrance. The light also increased the color of his eyes. They were light blue at the outer edges and deepened to a near purple, as she looked closer.

"The cavern is sound. I can feel the stone is firm and does not move. The place is warm and the winds cannot enter here. It is very safe."

"How long shall we stay?"

"It is our time to go when we are ready." The boy was looking in her eyes. There was peace in them.

"When will that be?"

"When the sun leaves the sky and the stars are shining." he replied.

The warrior woman was getting closer to his hair color.
