Halloween is here and that means candy will be everywhere.

If you're following a ketogenic diet or just simply trying to lose weight, one of the first things you need to do is eliminate sugar.

If you feel tempted to reach for a sugary treat, try this instead and your cravings will vanish!

Drink Cinnamon Water To Eliminate Sugar Cravings

Georges Lockhark, performance nutrition specialist and adviser to some of the top athletes world wide says this regarding sugar cravings:

"It's kind of like a catch-22 because sugar kind of craves sugar.

The more sugar you eat, the more sugar you're going to want. A lot of times if you're not even hungry you'll taste something like a little piece of a candy...and be like 'yeah, I want more'

If you drink bulletproof coffee or tea, try adding a teaspoon of Ceylon Cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon is the true form of cinnamon and it is widely considered the best for blood sugar control and losing weight). Otherwise, simply add a teaspoon to a cup of warm water and drink it like a tea.

I've been doing this for awhile by adding about 1/2 teaspoon to my morning tea and not only did it reduce my cravings for sugar but it dropped my fasting blood sugar substantially.
