What you probably are doing wrong every single morning!

Today I will share an important health advise with you guys. Important, since it affects every single one of us every single morning. You probably are making this mistake every single day

I am talking about our teeth. Everybody needs them. And everybody wants to have them healthy and white. 

But what are many of you doing wrong - It's brushing them after you enjoyed your breakfast. 

Let's look at the why. Toothpaste normally includes fluoride which supports the mineralisation of teeth by a lot. So when we brush before eating we build up a fluoride-shiel which helps protect our teeth. One other important effect is the removing of plaque which would otherwise help the acidogenic response of oral bacteria to the foods ingredients. 

If you brush after you have eaten this acid reaction has already taken place and the pH has probably dropped below the critical level of 5.5. How far it drops depends on the kind of food. If you start brushing now you will suffer even more mineral loss due to abrasion. And of course the fluoride shield comes a little late for your teeth as well.

So please consider this from now on. It's an easy habit to grow and will have a big positive impact on your teeth's health.
