Attend NY Teachers For Choice Protest 9-27

By Neenah Payne

Michael Kane of Teachers For Choice is holding another rally at Foley Square on September 27. Music is starting as early as 2 p.m. with speakers beginning around 4 p.m. Del Bigtree, host of the online news show The HighWire, interviewed Kane after his August 25 protest shown in NY Teachers For Choice PROTEST 9-13. Kane held a HUGE protest at Foley Square on September 13 as reported in NYC War On Unvaxxed Is Causing Chaos.

In There Is Still Hope, Kane said on September 23:

“Thousands of teachers and educators were extremely distraught throughout New York yesterday when Judge Love revoked the restraining order on forced vaccination he implemented last week. However this is NOT the only lawsuit seeking relief for NYC DOE employees in this matter. Our attorneys have always maintained we would not find relief in a New York State court, which is where Judge Love ruled from. That’s why the TEACHERS FOR CHOICE lawsuit and Rachel Maniscalco’s class action were both filed in federal court where our attorneys and experts have agreed is the best venue to seek relief.

Right now all eyes are on Rachel’s case. Over 700 teachers are a part of that class action lawsuit. On September 22nd, this case was argued in Federal Court seeking a preliminary injunction that would stop the September 27th deadline for NYC DOE employees to be vaccinated to maintain employment. The attorneys representing the petitioners are Louis Gelormino and Mark Fonte. The attorneys speak very highly about the judge hearing the case, Judge Cogan. IF Fonte & Gelermino are successful in securing a preliminary injunction, this would push back the September 27th deadline for vaccination and educators could report to work next week without receiving a covid vaccine.

This would not be PERMANENT relief, but would be temporary to allow the case to be heard in court before the final fait of the mandate was decided. Fonte & Gelermino have other 'emergency' plans they may implement over the weekend if necessary but I will not be discussing that here at this time. Please stay tuned to our platform for updates.”

Kane adds:

“Then there is our lawsuit, the TEACHERS FOR CHOICE lawsuit. While our case challenges the entire vaccine mandate as illegal and unconstitutional, our attorney took specific issue with the medical and religious exemption process. Attorney Sujata Gibson has special expertise in this area of law over many years of practice. Our complaint has been filed in Federal Court and more announcements will be coming regarding this lawsuit in the days ahead of us.

I am exactly the same as many reading this as I am staring directly into the reality of losing my career of over 14 years. I am preparing for that loss as it is very possible it may be occurring within just a few days, but I have not given up hope yet. I have faith in these two remaining lawsuits, but more importantly I have faith in the thousands of people who are rising up in NYC EVERY SINGLE WEEK!

COME TO FOLEY SQUARE ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 27th as our struggle continues. We will continue to fight but we will also celebrate as we must find JOY in our resistance.”

Del Bigtree of The HighWire Spoke at NYC PROTEST on September 13

Del Bigtree, host of The HighWire, was the keynote speaker at the TEACHERS FOR CHOICE protest on September 13 and gave a very inspiring speech that had the crowd roaring “Freedom!”.

Bigtree was an Emmy Award winning producer of The Doctors TV show and produced the 2016 documentary Vaxxed: From Coverup To Catastrophe that went viral! The HighWire is seen in 35 nations and has an audience of millions. Bigtree has been fighting for our rights to medical freedom before most of us knew we needed to fight for those rights. He is an amazingly dynamic speaker and strong advocate of our constitutional rights including free speech and open debate.

Some NYC Restaurants Refuse to Discriminate Against Unvaxxed

A NYC restaurant manager goes renegade in the face of new vaccination-proof rules reports:

“Not all Big Apple restaurants were happy as a citywide vaccine mandate took effect on Monday — and some are all but thumbing their noses at the controversial clampdown.

“The so-called 'Key to NYC' program — which requires diners to show proof they’ve been vaccinated from COVID — has gotten support from high-profile restaurateurs like Danny Meyer of the Gramercy Tavern and Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, as well as the owners of Sylvia’s in Harlem. But some fret that the new rules won’t be enforceable, and that they will turn off tourists as local eateries scramble to recover from a year and a half of lockdowns. Others say they won’t even try to enforce the new rule beginning Sept. 13, when city inspections at restaurants, indoor entertainment venues and gyms are slated to begin.

Shortly after Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the new rules on Aug. 3, a sign appeared in the front window of Pasticceria Rocco, a pastry shop and diner in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn: 'We do not discriminate against any customer based on sex, gender, race, creed, age, vaccinated or unvaccinated. All customers who wish to patronize are welcome.' 'For me, it’s not political — most of my customers are vaccinated,' said Mary Josephine Generoso, who manages the eatery. 'It’s about civil liberties and freedoms. Now we have to be in a society where people can’t roam freely and enter my place of business if they want to? How is that OK in the United States of America?'

Pasticceria Rocco’s manager said she hoped her sign would encourage others to resist rules that require diners to show proof of vaccination. Generoso said she hasn’t spoken with city officials about the new rules — and admitted she isn’t exactly sure what she’ll do if they show up at her door. 'It’s scary. I feel like we will be made an example of,' Generoso said. 'It is really hard to go up against a machine, and that’s what we are up against. Honestly, I put the sign up because I was hoping that other business owners would also have the courage to speak out. But it is mainly our customers who have reached out in support.'"

'This Guy's a Hero': How One Man Is Fighting Back Against Vaccine Mandates in NYC

Ari Hasanaj was inspired by the poster in the window of Rocco’s restaurant which says "We do not discriminate against ANY customer based on sex, gender, race, creed, age, vaccinated or unvaccinated. All customers who wish to patronize are welcome in our establishment." He created more posters and went to restaurants, asking them to post the sign. A majority agreed. He told the rally that he had put lots posters on the table at the rally and asked people to help distribute them. See the video.

NYC Mayoral Candidate Vows To End “Vaccine” Mandates

Bill Pepitone, Conservative candidate for NYC Mayor, spoke at the 9/13 rally. He said if he is elected, he will end the vaccine mandates. Michael Kane of Teachers For Choice said he had invited all the NYC mayoral candidates to speak at the August 25 rally, but others did not respond.
