I am very excited to share the official home of the #hamburgersaintproject on Steemit!
For those who may be wondering what the #hamburgersaintproject is: It is a Steemit Community Project started/moderated by @lexikon082.
It is a project of love and remembrance for Sgt.Michael Barkey KIA in Ar, Ramadi Iraq on July 7, 2004. It is intended to be a #payitforward project for the Steemit Community to participate in and a way to engage with one another while carrying on Sgt.Michael Barkey's memory.

The @hamburger-saint page will attempt to keep up with the project by highlighting the gifts received by fellow steemians. This is why it is vitally important to use the #hamburgersaintproject tag for posts related to the project.
How can you participate?
In the Senate's Congressional Record, they wrote: "We know that Michael is in heaven continuing to spread the laughter he did while on earth. And perhaps the Barkey family is right - Michael is still cracking jokes, exchanging war stories with his grandfather, and is now the patron saint of Cheetos or hamburgers."
As a project of love and remembrance, the Hamburger Saint Project it is intended to be "fun and loving" as Michael was.
To #payitforward, two Steemians who have committed to participating will receive a gift. Those two will then #payitforward to another two, and so on. Each participant writes a blog post about what they've received and call out to their community to perpetuate the project.
The gifts do not have to be new or expensive. They must have personal meaning to the sender. Gifts sent with love and thoughtfulness is the key.

This is very solvable! The USPS has General Delivery in which they will hold the package for you at a post office in your town. Fed-Ex and UPS will also hold the package at a facility. The relevant links are below.
For those who may be hesitant to participate because of shipping costs.
Currently all of the SBD and Steem generated from this project are being held in Savings to help with shipping costs if a Steemian needs it. After much thought I will be capping the shipping costs to $25. It is my hope the posts for Steemians participating in this project generate enough Steem and SBD to more than cover their shipping costs. If you need to contact me in regard to shipping costs. One of the main reasons for creating @hamburger-saint is to have a central location to keep up with recipients of gifts through the Hamburger Saint Project. Additionally, it is a central location to be accountable to the community for funds generated by the project. @lexikon082 is currently in the process of transferring funds from that account to the @hamburger-saint account.
