I found this deer when I went for a walk in the foothills of Parnitha, just outside Athens.
A few years ago you couldn't find any, even if you walked up the mountain. This was due to the huge fires that happened there in the 90's and 00's.
A great part of the forest was destroyed, taking along most of the animals living there.
But life returns slowly in the formerly burned forest. And this pic is evidence of that!
