Hong Kong: Graffiti - Part 2

I was able to pass a different route on my way home from work and so, new art pieces to share with you guys! I really like this set of murals from the side of different buildings. Especially in the more artsy district. Please enjoy and let me know which your favourite one this time around.

This mural was on the side of a bar called Flaming Flamingo which you can find in Soho Area in Central. This one is close to me because 2 of my former art classmates and my friends were hired to create and paint it in just 1 week. They've had a few experiences from before, painting restaurants before they even open. I'll share that on another blog.

This was a little less vibrant but has the complex details to interest me. I actually saw the lady working on this the week before on a ladder. I was so frighten for her because the road was steep and it was dangerous. Luckily, everything was done without any incidents.

This is an abstract artwork with the old styled Hong Kong building mixing with the modern architecture nowadays. Combining the two creating some compromise style. I enjoyed that she included both worlds.

This last one was located right next to an old police station that was changed into an art centre with small business owners and learning centres for art, fashion and design. I have yet to visit to see what they have to offer but what I've heard so far was good reviews. A few of my friends have found statement pieces and interesting finds along their journey all around the area.

Hopefully, one day I can show you around with photos and description but if you visit Hong Kong before then, please save some time to really explore the place!
