The cynical encounter of an angel

Jonas Ivalto was an ordinary man with ordinary things to do, and an ordinary life.

Everything that Jonas did, he did it with caution. He was a careful man and feared that any mishap or mistake could ruin his life.

Jonas Ivalto, unlike most people who lived on the countryside, went to school in a large city. He was an adventurous young man, and ever since he moved to the country side when he was young, Jonas had a longing for the life in the city. The sights, the sounds, the touch, and the feel of the city was something he always wanted. Jonas was always a curious child, and he wanted to see things with his own eyes.

When having lessons in school, Jonas had grasped concepts and material quicker than anyone in the class. This was true for all subjects he was taught.

Jonas was about 16 when he started to fall deeply in love with Mayia Merta, a beautiful red head girl in the same class as him. She was a lovely sight to him, a girl with a cheerful smile and a beautiful laugh. Jonas was impressed by her intelligence and her way to treat others, and for this he fell deeply in love with her. He fell deeply in love with her, but she never knew.

When Jonas realised how much he liked her, he told his girlfriend how he felt. It was only a very short conversation that went past quickly, but was very special for both of them.

Mayia found herself deeply in love with Jonas, but for some reason she could not let herself believe it, and before it got too late, she ended up sending Jonas away to his home town once his studies were done. She told him that it was something he had to do. Jonas did not know what she meant, but he had seen her in a painful, distracted look. Jonas was not sure what she meant, but he was very angry with her and did not understand the way of her cruel decision. She had broken him apart, and he had no idea why she did it.

Jonas left for the big city without a word to her, but without being able to forget how she had hurt him. Every day for the next year he thought of her, hoping to hear something from her. Even though he had visited his home town every week, but he never found anyone who could tell him where she lived. He was very frustrated by this, and began to spend time with other women who did not know of her, hoping they could tell him where she was.

His plan was simple. He would move to a city in the country, make a place for himself, and then wait for her to come back. He was very custom to living life as he felt fit, and he knew that if he waited, she would come back to him and they could go through this unpleasant experience together. After some time, he moved to the city where he lived the rest of his life.

He worked hard, and it took him a few years to earn enough money for himself and his small house in the city. He was not very successful at what he did, since he did not know how to work for others, but he worked for himself and did it well enough. Slowly, and without any noise, he was able to make things around him. He moved his house to a very nice area, and made some improvements to it. He did not forget what had happened to him, and made sure he did everything he could to never stay alone again.

He met many things along the way, great people, and good experiences. It was some time after he had moved to his new place that he met her. This time it was different. It was an angel.

Jonas lived alone, and often after work, he would sit on his porch, and look at the street from where he lived. He grew tired of seeing the same cars driving past him, so he decided what he should do. He decided to turn his house into a perfect room. He decided to buy a binocular, and begin watching birds, and taking care of them.

During this time, Jonas had couple of different birds visiting his house, and since he was a lonely man he enjoyed sitting outside and watching them.

One day, he saw a strange bird flying in the sky, one that he had never seen before. It had small brown wings and a beautiful light blue coloured neck. It looked like a swallow, but smaller and much more elegant. It was a bird that he had never seen, but that was not what baffled him the most. It was the fact that the bird actually hovered very close to his window, and flew around in circles above his house.
