What tells you to stop ......

...... and have a rest reading, watching a movie or taking a nap etc. Is it a knowing, instinct or intuition telling your that you need a break from rushing around with work, cooking, chores and looking after children etc?

Whatever the reason it is very individual. It might be due to tiredness, wanting to be alone, simply feeling or a sense of entitlement. Perhaps it is once a while feeling, a regular Sunday afternoon enjoyment or the end of a hectic work day habit.

But, the most important thing is just do it. Tell yourself that you deserve it. Depending on your circumstances it might be for as little as 30 minutes every day or as long as a day over an odd weekend. One thing is for sure, the emotional mental and physical benefits are many.

It is definitely not a waste of time because miraculously the next day you are likely to feel invigorated and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.

Trust me it works. I do it now and then especially on a Sunday afternoon with my feed up on the couch or sitting on a sand dune looking at the ocean.
