Here at last is a blockchain platform for those of us with astronomic appetite! To my knowledge, GastroAdvisor is the first platform on blockchain wholly dedicated to astronomy. It is a platform where users would be able to search and book for astronomic centers worldwide.
The idea of GastroAdvisor was conceived in the year 2016 in Switzerland and so far, it has collaborated with a number of local venues in that region while awaiting its official launch on blockchain.
Every blockchain projects seeks to offer solution to some practical problems. As a Gastronomic platform therefore, GastroAdvisor seeks to offer solutions to online challenges encountered by astronomic businesses and the hospitality sector at large. Prominent among these challenges is the difficulty in finding accurate information regarding specific restaurants. GastroAdvisor is poised to create a turnaround in this respect. GastroAdvisor is taking a step toward implementing cryptocurrencies – hence blockchain – in our daily lives by introducing restaurant owners to the world of blockchain and the vast opportunities therein. The platform will provide appropriate tools and support to all users on how to use the blockchain technology. It also introduces an incentivized system to encourage business owners to embrace the technology. Here restaurant owners (companies) would be incentivized/rewarded for listing their businesses on the GastroAdvisor website and for accepting the GastroAdvisor token (FORK) and other cryptocurrencies at their centers. A reward system would also be available for users who book and or evaluate the registered restaurants on the platform.
The GastroAdvisor platform would enable restaurateurs to manage online booking through its user-friendly interface. A management software would be built in the system with which they would be able to control operations to promote their businesses as in managing and proposing special deals to prospective customers
These proposed strategies to expand the use of crypto currencies in our daily living is quite awesome. Hopefully it would make for a wider adoption of the technology as well as boost the online astronomic sector.
