On the 15th of April, 2021, Kerel, the CMO of Seascape Network, was live on the Game of Bitcoins Community Telegram group, to provide the community with insights on Seascape Network, details on recent partnerships & upcoming developments, and also attend to their questions and queries.

In order to ensure clarity to my readers, this article has been divided into three segments; the first segment, gives full account of the questions asked by the moderator (Gary) of this session, while the second segment gives account of the questions asked by Telegram community members.

SEGMENT 1

Gary — We have with us Kerel.

Kerel —

Hello guys, I’m Kerel, the CMO of seascape. I worked in marketing all of my life, mostly in gaming and crypto. Some companies I worked with in crypto are Bybit and BtcMex.

I joined crypto on a professional level back in 2017 and always loved the decetrnalized aspects because it gave back control to the users, so when David reached out to me about seascape and what he wanted to do with it I was hooked.

Gary — I understand that Seascape incorporates all DeFi mechanisms into a gaming ecosystem, but is this really the only innovation that Seascape provides? Or does it also have tools that allow game developers to innovate?

Kerel —

The integration of DeFi into Seascape serves as a proof of concept for what we want to do. Seascape is about giving tools to game developers to integrate blockchain technology easily into their games

Our first three games, profit circus, NFT Brawl, and Staking saloon serve as the base ecosystem to show what could be done, but the true innovation that we provide is the interoperable set of tools with good documentation that we will provide developers

As you know before starting seascape the team developed Blocklords on multiple platforms, and this multi platform integration was not easy to do so we set out to provide what we felt was very necessary in the space to bring about a new gaming revolution that truly utilizes the aspects of the blockchain that we all know and love.

Gary — What are the interoperability solutions provided by Seascape? One of the main problems when dealing with many networks is the slippage and slowdown in operations, how does Seascape solve this?

Kerel —

The first thing is that all of our games and tokens are interoperable between all the blockchains and we are working on a feature that would allow the games to automatically select the best chain to get the best desired results for the users

As you know some chains are best for speed, fees, or applications, so later on depending on what the users would want to do and what he wants to use to do that that function would automatically choose the best chain to do that.

Gary — I read on your Medium blog that you are developing a partnership with Moonbeam, to expand your reach to new users, but how important is this partnership really? Can you give us the benefits that Seascape will obtain apart from reaching other chains?

Kerel —

First of all other chains give us access to a whole new set of users and assets that would exponentially increase the total amount on the seascape environment.
But most importantly it brings with it a whole ecosystem, new interactions with new projects, so some things might be developed on the moonbeam chain that could not be developed on the others for example.

And lastly moonbeam allows us to access the entire Polkadot ecosystem with its parachains and whole set of advantages that would allow us to scale and optimize our games.
While not every chain is an advantage we are very confident that new chains like BSC and Moonbeam definitely bring us a lot more than just new users

Gary — You currently have on your platform 2 games, do you have plans to add more games? If so, will users be able to participate in the creation of this games? How could that be possible?

Kerel —

Our third game, Staking Saloon is actually coming very soon. In it you would be able to stake the NFTs you got from the first two games and claim very attractive CWS rewards. The trick though is that you would burn your NFT once you claim the reward so be mindful. Which adds up to the leaderboards rewards oh hundreds of CWS we give out everyday. With it our first three initial games will be launched

We already are working on the second coming of new games, and you can expect an increasing number of games to be released in the coming months and years. As previously mentioned, we will release a set of well documented SDK tools to allow developers to integrate seascape and blockchain elements into their games.

Devs would also be able to create their own coins in their games by backing them with CWS. So users would be able to not only play all these games be interact with all of the tokens and NFTs in the seascape ecosystem. Players would also be able to talk and interact to the developers of all these games as is common in the traditional gaming industry.

Gary — Could you tell me a little bit about Your roadmap going forward, how do you plan onboarding users and gaining more adoption for Your project?

Kerel —

Well as for the roadmap we have to specify what we plan to do development and marketing wise. First I’ll start marketing wise.

We are already expanding our reach to many new markets such as Korean, Japanese, Turkish, Russian, or Spanish amongst others, and will translate our games and website to allow everyone to join in.

We are also planning to make more campaigns such as the one you have right now: SECRET CODE TO ENTER — BITCOIN. Link to Campaign. In which users can gain prizes, NFTs and engage directly with us. We are also updating all of our guides, FAQs, and providing more appealing materials for newcomers to understand every that we do at a glance

Development wise we have a lot going on between the integration with new chains, many new games released and exciting features such as the game store, NFT marketplace, and player created coins you can be sure that the next few months are going to be packed with content.
Adoptions would come from a mix of both, easier adoption thanks to localized and easy to understand material with an increased reach, and more applications for the seascape ecosystem and a lot of very exciting partnerships we are already working on.

SEGMENT 2

Community Question 1 — How can users stay updated with this project? Are there channels, including local communities where users can get the latest updates?

Kerel —

You can keep up with our most recent news here. We have a lot in the pipeline for April! Also our website has a roadmap I advise you checking out for what’s to come.

Community Question 2 — Are you a community based project? How can I work for the success of your project? Do you have a Global Ambassador Program or a Referral Rewards System?

Kerel —

We actually do have an ambassador program which we are very excited about, we started about a month ago, if you’re excited about the project and want to help out, reach out to CryptoNate1 and he’ll be sure to talk to you.

Community Question 3 — Can you tell briefly about your Tokenomics, Release Schedule and UTILITY?Also, is it inflationary or deflationary?

Kerel —

This is all public, you are welcome to give it a read-over here.

Community Question 4 — Is this project a Global project ? Can local communities take part in it?

Kerel —

As mentioned before we actually have a number of other communities some on telegram such as:
Seascape English
Seascape Korean
Seascape Vietnamese
Seascape Turkish
Seascape Indonesian
Seascape Russian
Seascape Spanish

Community Question 5 — Where is the roadmap for this year? Can you share with us your main priority for this year and do you have plan to list on big exchange?

Kerel —

This year we plan to get integrated onto new interesting chains such as Polkadot through moonbeam, and have a number of new game released. We would also be working on a complete brand and website redesign to offer more functionalities with our NFTs, tokens, and games.

Community Question 6 — How do you plan to spread your understanding of the project in different countries where spoken English is not good like me?

Kerel —

We are building global communities for this bridge. We already have several that are growing quickly!

Gary — What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market? In contrast, what is your weakness? How do you plan to overcome it?

Kerel —

Everyone in our team has had a background in either gaming or crypto, most of us in both so we not only know these inside out but also the pains that trying to integrate one another can bring. As for our weakness I would say we came later that some of the other projects, but have already not only caught up but actually surpassed most of them in terms of not only users but also features and applications.
