My last game review was Knights Fight developed by Shori Games today i will be reviewing a game called Angel Stone developed by Fincon
Before going into today game review, i will like to give a brief of my old game review, so that you can have good information about it.
Introduction
Angel stone, this happen to be an heroes where by the whole earth got filled with darkness, there are lot of demon up rise overnight destroying vision stealing their sleep. Their nightmares came into reality, there was no difference between earth and hell as there was blood shed, weeping and roar in the darkness. Has the whole was turn into complete tumor overnight, the screams from various household were heard as there were descending angels sent to save the earth. Their mission was to banish the demons back to hell. As there were strong fight between the angels and demon, the fire of battle keep increasing but there was a traitor brandishing the key to heaven and succeeded in closing the gates to heaven, since the angels are now lacking access to their angelic power, the angel lost the battle. Humanity were left on their own once again, but due too much pain there was an alliance formed to go into battle with the demons. With the help of passed down angelic power, the earth greatest warrior summon courage to take the demons down. The earth greatest warriors are : Berseker, Gunsinger and Shawdow Mage.
Heroes
Berseker
These are strong warriors who were once a mercenaries they felt at home on the battlefield, the battle field to them looks like children playing child. Since they are now empowered by the angelic stone, these warriors are ready to kill and destroy.
Gunslinger
These are female warrior noble and proud, they fight for survival and honor. They are known as the defenders of men, they remain resolute. These proud protector are not scared of anything anytime they are with their guns, their name through the use of their weapon. As they are good with handling guns, they stand strong with the unwavering aim they target their enemy whose aim is to harm humanity at any distance. All demon always find themselves unlucky at the sight of the gun slingers.
Shawdow Mage
As the fire of hell cast strange shadows across the surface of the earth, quiet few humans who experiment with the fire of hell get stronger. Now possessing unusual power and ability the shadow mage are ready to punish anyone or anything who would dare to stand between them and their power. They care less of earthly affairs, their main mission is exploring their demonic powers.
Gameplay
On starting the game there are three classes of heroes you can choose from in angel stone which are: Berserker, Gunslinger, and Shadow Mage. Players will begin their journey after completing basic movement and combat tutorial. The game features a unique reward system before players can enter the dungeon, as the game enhanced multi playing features that is PvP mode is enhanced.
There are multiple character customization aspects in the game, as player can dismantle unwanted gears to acquire materials needed to reinforce armament which will help to enhance their equipment’s stats, players are also allowed to forge and craft new weapons.
Each stage is divided into several acts, with each act having a few replay options depending on the route you take as a player. Some routes reward you well with cash, while some with armor, but you can’t pass through all the routes at once , only if you have perform well at the previous level. In which you will have option to tap blitz and skip the fighting and harvesting the loot from the game play. As the game tougher at each stage, you might possibly like to try out all the heroes in other to be able to acquaint yourself with the hero you know you use very well. The stronger the boss the more you will have to seek other player so that you can battle effectively, as there are certain boss in the game you cannot defeat alone of which you will need reinforcement that is other players to battle with them effectively.
Leveling Up, UI
As the usual heroes game tale, fight in each levels, or acts, harvest loot and come home to review if it can be of any use. The developers would have add a more better game story instead of the broken pottery in the game. The mage, gunslinger or berserker, are a wonderful characters and are not expected to care about collecting garbage.
Fortunately, there can be some useful stuff among the bits and pieces of garbage. Some items are rare and can’t be quipped until you level up; other items can be used right away while the rest can be sold or dismantled. The ore you get for dismantling items can be used to upgrade your ammo.
Then, there are stones, which stand for special skills of your hero. The skills are of active, passive and summon type. These are upgradeable, too, and leveling them up constitutes a hefty deal of the gameplay, like it or not.
I would not say the UI is overwhelming for an average player, while the hardcore RPG(Role Playing Game) gamers will feel there could be a more complex crafting and skill tree.
You will receive reward for completing a quest, or some log-in bonus – not only do you have to claim the reward in the collective Quest or Bonus tab, but also go to the Inbox to collect it. This feels like walking in circles – too many taps to collect a reward. In a perfect case, it all should pile up automatically with a few in-game notifications.
For players who have advanced up to level 34-40 say there is no need to upgrade all your hero’s special skills, but to concentrate on a few critical ones. This will enable you to go freely without experiencing in-game currency shortage.
On the other hand, upgrading each skill requires too much tapping, and it gets oh-so-boring by the time you reach level 7, or sooner.
Design
The skills and ammo tree is quite simplistic for a hardcore RPG (Role Playing Game) fan, the design of Angel Stone is awesome, and the looks alone make it a worthwhile download, there are no disappointing moment during gameplay. The epic-like music may not sound good within the first 20 minute of your first gameplay, but the visuals are superb and not dissapointing. The female characters look impressive as the spectacular explosions and attack effects make it an eye catchy while the characters actually wear the gear you choose. Overall, the game looks too good for a free-to-play title.
IAP (In App Purchases)
The game is quite generous with their in-game currencies, which are – gold, stamina, gems, ore.
Gold in angel stone are used to buy upgrades and level up; stamina – to enter battles, buy gems as they use to enhance your existing ammo. The game is pretty good as there are no much in app purchases since most of them are
covered by in game currencies. The game is generous on gold, and it allows grinding. You don’t need to buy all the stones, instead you should look for the Important ones, and upgrade it consistently. So, proper skill selection and upgrade will get you further in the game than reckless upgrade-it-all tactic. This tip should let you get by without paying at all. And don’t forget to collect those achievements and log-in bonuses, or trade gems for gold and sell useless stuff from your ammo section.
The Verdict
Angel Stone might not possess the complexity, depth or novelty the hardcore RPG fans crave, but it definitely deserves a try due to a set of reasons. Pending from the gorgeous looks and also the possibility to turn off the auto-run and auto-attack and be your own boss for strategy and skill selection. Also the permissive free-to-play model that showers gold and gems – you just have to pick them up.
As you play the game you will not find any difficulty at the initial levels, but it will surely make you grind and prioritize your skills in the longer run. Angel Stone is by far more than you could expect from a free-to-play title, you really need to try this out. Things you need to know about the game's play mechanics and menu systems is that they are pretty intuitive, up to the extent that the tutorial seems to drag on longer than necessary. It plays a lot like other RPG(Role Playing Games) adventure games, with standard movement and attack buttons and "special skills" accessible with the click/tap of an icon on the side of the screen. The battle mechanics and level progression are easy, efficient, and a lot of fun.
You will spend a lot of time flipping to-and-from various meta pages to collect log-in bonuses, send or receive friend requests, and sorting through the tangled knot of blacksmith/upgrade tabs. The item upgrading system could go for some tightening up as well, as it can really drag on if you have multiple items you wish to upgrade and plenty of iron ore with which to do so. Items are enhanced one level at a time, so to go through the same 5-6 button process (plus animations and brief dialogue windows) can get really old, really fast. I would recommend the game solely on the artistic integrity and character design. Playing as a Gunslinger is a lot of fun when the typical Mage/Warrior/Rogue dynamic starts to feel a little stale. But for those who have a RPG niche, the Berserker or Shadow Mage are just as engaging to play. You can have multiple characters, so why not try them all?🤷

Conclusion
Angel Stone gameplay is game is not disappointing it will always make you come back for more, the game graphics is superb each level is challenging of which makes the game to be fun. Since there are lot of characters in the game and each of them having unique kill techniques give room to exploit different options in the game. I have not experienced any performance issues with the game, and despite its difficulty it feels well-balanced.
