Godwrath Lore: Ymir, The Supreme Discpline. Belphegor, The Sloth.

Discipline is one of the greatest forces there is. Without discipline, no laws can stand. Without discipline, there is no change. Without discipline, there is no perseverance, no will power. Discipline is what holds all shapes, ideas, and forms together. It shapes the world around us.

This supreme power of discipline, that holds all reality together, is controlled by one being. This being is a titan; a titan that is the embodiment of discipline. The consciousness of discipline.

This titan, who calls himself Ymir, is a cold and merciless being with an unbending will that treats everything with equality. Which is unlike his titan wife, Themis, who as the embodiment of law, is kind, and merciful in nature.

With a kind wife who creates laws that protect and benefit those in need, Ymir was expected, as the embodiment of discipline, to enforce those laws and punish those who break them. But due to his lack of care and concern for those in need, he relegated these meaningless tasks to his children. Giving them full control over disciplining those who dare to break the laws of Themis. And giving them great control over his force of discipline.

With their control over the force of discipline, most of his power hungry and sadistic children used this force to cause chaos all over the world tree, seizing control over vast resources, and waging wars against their enemies, all in the guise of enforcing the laws of Themis.

Experiencing the devastating results of Ymir's children all over the world tree, Ymir, as the cause of it all was giving a new name and title by the major forces of the world tree, that lowered his status as a creator of the world tree into that of a prince of heaven, out of spite.

He was given the name and title, Belphergor, The Sloth, for his inaction, against the destruction continually caused by his children.

Mockery was something Ymir cared nothing of. So his new name was never an issue he needed to address, as long as it wasn't mentioned in his presence. Thus, his new name and title slowly became his new form of address from then forth.

"Sloth, he may be called. But try him, and you'll see that a sloth he is not." - Themis, The Supreme Law.
