Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Gameplay (PC HD)

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden 60 fps pc gameplay preview (no commentary) with an xbox controller.

The game is about:

This is a video game of strategy and XBO style turn-based combats that transports the player to a post-apocalyptic world in which humans, due to nuclear war and climate change, have given way to mutants, creatures with the appearance of animals that they coexist in a land in permanent conflict dominated by these beings and by nature.

Developed by Bearded Ladies together with the creators of Conan Exiles, Funcom, Mutant Year: Zero: Road to Ede for PC, Xbox One and PS4 introduces stealth mechanics and exploration in real time combined with dynamic environments where the user, in addition to fighting, will have to dig into consciousness to collect different objects hidden by the place. Likewise, Mutant Year: Zero: Road to Eden is based on an old game from the 80s that answered to the name of Mutant.

These are the requirements that your pc must have in order to play:

Minimum requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-760 / AMD Phenom II X4 965
  • GPU: NVidia GTX 580 / AMD Radeon HD 7870
  • Memory: 6GB RAM
  • Disk Space: 8GB

Recommended requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 / AMD Radeon RX 480
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Disk Space: 8GB

My opinion after playing:

If you like turn-based strategy games based on coverage like XCOM and do not expect something too deep, you can give it a try, this is one of those games that are worth nothing more than to degrease between heavier games, do not get too comfortable, because it will not last for 3 days.

Presents a light story, without much headache, with an open end and without clarifying too much, leaving the door open to future sequels. The most original thing is that these characters are somewhat "cartoon" that fit quite well, everything is said, otherwise, repetitive maps are not too original based on a post apocalyptic future.

The best, the combats that is what we have come, simple and addictive, with everything you need to keep the excitement during the game in the purest XCOM style, sauteed from some video scenes and continuous comments from the characters about the world around them to make the whole immersive.

However the variety is practically nil, since the few types of enemies that are repeated throughout the game, few weapons and possibilities for improvement, enough for a short story and something else, honestly I would not pay for more than 15 or 20 euros and being quite generous, it's too simple to be replayable, to this game I give a score of 8
