These prickly hugs were from our trip to the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum
and the Saguaro National Park. I found it very interesting that the trees would grow up and around the saguaros in a way that it looks like they are hugging the cactus.

Warning below... about hugging cactus. Thank goodness for a very nice husband!
Jumping Cholla do just that detach and then attach themselves (and their long spikes) to things that pass by, or in this case get to close.
