This is the shortest video we've made and I've found out that the shorter the video, the more editing is required. I think this video is a little too short but I wanted to get all the good parts into it and make every minute as engaging and fun as possible.
We recorded this in the night yesterday and though he wanted to do the science experiment, he was a little tired from the whole day thus we tried not to make the recording time too long.
YouTube Journey DAY 9:
My wife's first time doing a video with Levi and it was a fun science experiment where when certain chemicals mix it creates a chemical reaction. Levi had loads of fun doing this experiment as well as gain some knowledge.
As for the video editing side of things, it's been fun for me to learn and make videos. Just under 10 days of recording, "scripting", editing, designing thumbnails, and writing, I've already learned so much and am excited to learn more.
Although we haven't yet monetize our channel and are a long way from making our work financially rewarding, we're making the most of our time spent together as a family doing these videos.
I'm glad that my son is getting better and better at hosting these videos and using it as an outlet to practice his English. He seems to building more confidence as well in facing the camera and I'm really really, super proud of him for giving all this a try.
