Indra Patra Fort is the first Hindu royal heritage fort in Aceh which is used as a place of worship and a stronghold of enemy attack. Then the fort was captured by the Islamic Kingdom of Aceh and made as a fortress. The fort was led by a well-known admiral of the Acehnese warfare, Admiral Malahayati.
