Ibrahimovic moves on from Manchester United
- Manchester United confirmed on Thursday about Ibrahimovic exit ahead of his projected move to MLS, having put pen to paper on a two year contract with LA Galaxy.
After featuring for United for 2 seasons, the 36 year old veteran who sustained a knee injury that kept him out for 8months after an impressive first season where he managed 28 goals in 46 games has been released by United as his contract was terminated on Thursday. The 36 year old has expressed his gratitude to the club, fans, team, coach and everyone connected to the club all through his stay at Manchester
Before his contract termination, Sweden boss Andersson already stated clearly that the fans favourite (Ibrahimovic) would not be automatically welcomed back to the club after his retirement irrespective of his achievements. If all goes well, the 36 year old is expected to make his debut for his new club on the 31st of March against Los Angeles and if he impresses in America, he could get a shot at representing his country in Russia.
