Brilliant Liverpool ends Manchester City Unbeaten Run in an amazing win at the anfield

LookArsenal still retains dere Invincible trophy as the only team to have played unbeaten in the year 2003.
The unbeaten run is over as Liverpool FC left Manchester City FC unbeaten EPL record in tatters with a thrilling 4-3 win over the table toppers.

The Liverpool stadium has long provoked a sense of dread for City, who last won at anfield, the Merseyside ground in May 2003, and they have collapsed under anunsustainable weight of individual errors as Liverpool ran amok after half-time.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the former Arsenal man introduced a midfield performance to amaze the Liverpool faithful in the wake of Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona and opened the scoring with an excellent ninth-minute opener on an afternoon of high-class finishing. We all thought coutinho would be missed in this game facing Manchester city but as it make look, these guys are winning with the Brazilian player and without him.

Leroy Sane played an amazing shot beyond Loris Karius at the near post to draw City level five minutes before half-time and Jurgen Klopp’s choice of goalkeeper might have come in for greater scrutiny had the three attacking stars Coutinho left behind not sparkled at the other end.

Roberto Firmino’s 10th Premier League goal of the season arrived courtesy of a deft finish in the 59th minute and Sadio Mane added a third 126 seconds later, having found time to hit the post in between.
City were a mess as Mohamed Salah completed a dizzying spell of three goals in nine minutes and, although Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan set up a grandstand finish, Liverpool deservedly inflicted a first defeat upon Pep Guardiola’s side in 23 top-flight games this season.

This season has been a great season, am happy Liverpool won today lol bcos am an Arsenal fan and that invincible trophy is still the trophy that makes me get mouth when most of my friends are arguing. Football is sweet with the tension and all, am sure the Manchester red boss mourinho is going to be in a good mood. Also the two Manchester teams are fighting for the Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, with news saying city might have an upper hand.... We wll all see how it goes.
