Last night, we went to Mookata for dinner. That's right, it's not neither Chinese nor Western, it's Thai food. These days in Singapore, Mookata has become pretty popular. A lot of people eat it. We also had to wait like fifteen (15) to get a table which we usually doesn't have to wait that much for other food.
It was just at the food court downstairs at my block. Actually we are lucky to have that kind of food court downstairs. It was pretty packed. It is always crowded on Saturday and Sunday nights.
After we've got the table, they prepared a stove and BBQ plate for us. Mookata is simply a BBQ in a Thai way.
Sauce are self-service. There were four different types of sauce you can have. I took all and they are really spicy,it's Thai food, right, it's got to be spicy. I took them after I've handed over the food list at the counter.
The food we ordered had arrived. It's time to cook. We ordered a few vegetables and some meats. There were raw meat too. I don't upload them here. It might destroy some people's appetite 😁
Ok. It's time to cook now. That's the best part, you have to cook yourself, so you can eat whatever level of the taste you like. Some thing like pork collar, we cooked it very long so that it's become very crispy and crunchy to eat.
The food are ready. You can take the cooked food and dip inside the sauce and have it. Hmmmm, yummy.... 😋😋😋
Now, you might think why does it need water on the side? It's the soup. All the oil you grill will fall into the water and make the soup more tasty. Very Unhealthy... 😄😄😄
We'd also ordered this bacon wrapped mushrooms as a side dish. This one really taste well too.
Totally it's costed $20 for us. We were pretty full and very satisfied with the food.
Now I hope you've got the idea of eating Mookata. So, what are you waiting for. Look for a Mookata shop nearest to your place and enjoy!!!
