Oreo Fans,

Keeping on with the Oreo theme after my Lady Gaga Limited Edition Oreos. I was given this little Oreo chocolate egg by my husband at the weekend as we didn’t have any Easter eggs. Probably for the fact that I had Krispy Kreme Easter Donuts . I didn’t even know you could get Oreo chocolate eggs. I was looking forward to eat the little thing.

When I unwrapped the egg, the first thing it reminded me of was a Cadbury Creme Egg. It had that pattern on the chocolate that looks like the Creme egg. I can’t be 100% sure as it’s been a very long time since I last had one. I put the chocolate egg in my mouth and bit the top off. Quite a bit off the top actually. The chocolate was nice but it didn’t hit me straight away that this was Cadbury’s chocolate. I think I was more focused on the filling. The filling was white, firm and had a creamy taste. I liked the flecked look of the filling which was the crushed chocolate Oreo biscuit of course. There were no chunks of biscuit. it was like the biscuit was crushed into a powder and added to the cream filling. I actually liked this. I think it works well with a smooth filling than one with crunch bits in. A delicious creamy Oreo egg!

Now I did read a review on this and someone gave it one star. They said the egg centre was hard and solid, even though the egg had not been refrigerated. I find this hard to believe. I had no sense of hardness at all. Either they picked up a bad one or their room was cold. I don’t know, but I 100% disagree with the review. I would give this little egg 4 stars. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there wasn’t enough! I loved it and I’d have one again for sure.
