Recipes from my kitchen: Spinach bites

Hi everybody!

Today I will give you recipe with spinach. Here are little bites,they are great for waching TV, meeting with friends, and you can also take them on the beach...

Spinach bites

Here's a recipe with directions...

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 ml yogurt
  • 150 ml oil

For the filling:

  • frozen chopped spinach
  • cheese in the grain
  • egg whites

Other:

  • egg yolks
  • seeds

Directions:

Step 1 : In a bowl combine flour, egg, baking powder, salt, yogurt and oil. Knead the dough forms a rough ball and let 15 minuten.

Step 2: In a another bowl combine spinach with cheese and egg whites. Stir till mixture is smooth.

Step 3: Turn the dough out onto a well floured surface, roll out the dough to 5 mm thick, turning the dough often to make sure it does not stick. With medium cutter cut out rounds.

Step 4: On the each round take 1 spoon spanich mixture and fold the dough. Press the fork edges the dough.

Step 5: on the each round spread on mixed egg yolks and sprinkle with seeds.

Step 6: Bake on the baking paper cca 20 minutes to 180°.
