Melaka is a food heaven for tourists (not sure why though) and tons of tourists flock to Melaka every day. Here are some places to eat in Melaka.
Rock Bottom Cafe - All sorts of Indian and Western food. Suitable if you love alcohol and watching football.
Steamboat - Steamboat buffet for RM 32 - 35 per person.
Kapitan Kongsi Restaurant - Very nicely decorated Nyonya restaurant that is joined with a hotel.
Pak Putra - Best tandoori and naan in Melaka (maybe not the best but ok). Most popular on TripAdvisor.
Sushi Zanmai - One of the branches of Sushi Zanmai. Sushi Zanmai is really popular in KL.
Ramada Plaza buffet - One of the top buffet in Melaka, but can't compete with KL standards.
Swiss Garden Hotel Buffet - Affordable buffet and is quite decent.
Casa Del Rio buffet - Don't really recommend this due to experience of not 'refilling' food.
Morganfields - One of the branches of Morganfield. Known for serving pork and alcohol.
Old Town Grand - More atas version of Old Town. Grandeur decor but the food is mainly the same. They do have an additional menu though.
Sid's Pub - Near Jonker Street and facing the river. Great place for a drink and to chill but it's expensive.
Fugo Ryori - Not the top Japanese restaurant but is quite decent. Still prefer Wazen as far as taste is concerned.
Daily Fix Cafe - One of the most well known cafes in Melaka and serves the best pancakes. Their all day breakfast is also quite good.
Chicken Rice Balls - A must eat if you come down to Melaka. Melaka is known for their chicken rice balls, even though they aren't that amazing.
Kuay Tiaw Zabb - Thai food in Melaka.
Gangnam 88 - Korean bistro food in Melaka. They have other branches in the country.
Note: This is an experiment.
