A novice fishterman - Part 4

Today was my best day fishing ever. Having rained all night, and still drizzling slightly, I thought would be a perfect time to fish at my local lake. What a result:

I felt so embarrassed as the more seasoned fishermen where not having much luck. The only thing I can think of is that I was the only one using a popper bait. With the noise of the rain, the "pop" "pop" "plop" sound it made, brought attention to itself.

I did catch others, totalling 18 fish. I couldn't take pictures of all of them, as my camera was keeping dry in my bag. I didn't want to take ages getting it out of my bag and allow the fish to stay out of the water took long. So only took pictures during the dryer period when my camera/phone was easily at hand.

All but two catches were River Tarpon, with the other two being Notched Mouth Chub.

Hoping I have more days like this, was amazing fun!
