Fireworks at the Funfair in Linz

Two times a year there is a funfair in Linz and usually there is also a firework at the beginn and then End of the funfair. Usually I use one of these occations to take some pictures of the Fireworks here in Linz. I already tried several different spots from which I can take the pictures of the fireworks but usually the "Schlossberg", the castle on the Hill in Linz is one of the best spots to take the pictures of the fireworks. Since on Pöstlingberg and the other hills around Linz are too fast away for some nice closeup pictures and the Scene with the bridge is probably also the best you can get here in Linz. A friend of mine also found another interesting spot that I probably need to check out the next time.

I hope I can attend a fireworks in another city some time soon, to get a little bit more variety in my fireworks pictures. Because not only the explosion but also the surrounding is very important for pictures like thes. When I remember the pictures of a fireworks in Salzburg that a friend shoot some time ago, I can say that the Scene is the most important thing about pictures like these. Here in Linz I usually have too much of the sky on the pictures.
