One of the safest in Europe, Deutsche Bank, financial organizations is suffering serious problems, according to an article published in the newspaper 'El Cronista'. Deutsche Bank is part of an elite club informal of banks that could obtain direct financial support from the respective Governments, difficult to be the situation in the event of urgent need.
After losing 52% of the price of its shares on stock exchange since the beginning of 2016, the German bank is in values lower in its history and even under the 2008 crisis records.
The situation worsened further when the U.S. Justice Department impose on Deutsche Bank a fine of 14,000 million dollars by their actions with financial derivatives and 'junk' mortgages.
Time the Bank's future seems to depend on the support of the Government of the country. If the Chancellor, Angela Merkel, refuses to perform a rescue, the collapse of the Deutsche Bank could drag other financial institutions and lead to a new economic and financial crisis comparable to the 2008.
Opinion
They would the financial crises always are caused by banks, affecting the citizens, as we cannot rely on a banking system that does not work?, which is always in uncertainty, and that in my personal opinion this outdated, should really be real change, to avoid in the future, situations like these.
