Seth Webster is a widowed architect with a demanding career…and two even more demanding six year-old boys. To help lighten the load Seth hires a housekeeper to take care of the daily chores and keep the boys in line…problem is the twins keep driving them all away. Just when he thinks he’s run out of options Mrs. Miracle comes knocking on his door.
Meanwhile failed actress Reba Maxwell has returned to her hometown to practice teaching in the local school, and she winds-up directing this years Christmas show…but wait she needs a pianist to accompany the children while they sing…and Seth just so happens to play piano, well wouldn’t you know it. Healing and TV movie happiness ensues.
The film is produced by Hallmark and based on Debbie Macomber’s book of the same name, a sequel, Call Me Mrs, Miracle, was released the following year. Three more of Macomber’s Christmas themed works have been adapted by Hallmark, Trading Christmas, Dashing Through the Snow and Mr Miracle, a semi-sequel following a trainee guardian angel.
