A Untypical Farm Day for a City Boy

Today I had an opportunity to be on a horse ran farm. Meaning they used horses to combine, pull grain in carts and such.
Very cool to see not to mention that these work horses were crazy big, not your typical horse. I think they said the were Belgian horses.

I also had the opportunity to drink milk right from a cow's teat! That was interesting. Compared to regular store bought milk, it was probably the consistency of whole milk or half n half, it was warmer (obviously) and because of the warmth it tasty a little salty.

So much respect for the way this family farms and it was a blessing to how welcoming and friendly they were!
