Yesterday, we visited Lansing to support the protesters on the lawn and inside the Capitol building.
Although the Governor issued THREE additional Executive Orders, the legislators determined that the lockdown cannot continue after April 30th, effectively opening up Michigan today.
Now it's up to the businesses to resume their operations and become profitable again - and it's up to consumers to have the courage to become their patrons!

A kind fellow Lansing visitor threw a stuffed unicorn into the window of our car and our little one claimed it. She says she likes the "smell of it". :-)
We stopped for lunch and she showed me her new stuffed animal.
Each of us will need to choose a side either:
- the rule of law
- acquiescence to fear of COVID-19 and the subversion of our constitutional rights.
Due to the unfolding of events in Lansing, it is clear to me that Michigan is open for business as of 11:59 pm April 30, no matter what EO's the governor has issued.
At Least Wear a Mask!
I've heard people "support" our right to protest, but insist that we abide by all the safety guidlines, standing 6 feet apart, wearing masks and gloves... here's my answer to that.
