3.Ghana has some wierd Dining Etiquette?
The Ghanaian society is made up of some very wierd and serious etiquette which makes them who they really are.its sometimes funny this is Ghana.

  • You should accept any invitation as a sign of friendship if you visit any home...You simply dont have to reject that if you are called to join a dining(accept to eat even if you are full).lol.
  • If you visit any home, wait to be told where to sit before you do some..you would be tagged disrespectful if you just sit.
  • Incase food is ready for consumption do not begin eating until the eldest male does...Hmm that is how we have all been thought and ao we live with it.
  • During eating with other people, make sure to remain eating till those or the person eating takes off his hand before you do so even if you are full.
  • Dont ever ask an elderly person "how are you" after greeeting him/her.Unless he/she ask about you then you respond "how about you"?

4.Ghanaians are more indirect communicators?..
Communication styles differ from country to country.Ghanaians do not just relay any information in any way. They are very circumspect with every single info they relay.
And this is why proverbs, wise sayings and analogies are mostly use in their convos.
As a matter of fact anyone who are viewed as wise frequently speak in proverbs and many analogies.
