Thomson Reuters and the community Ethereum announced a joint HackETHon, which will begin on September 9 and will last for three days. The event will take place in London at the Thomson Reuters Building, 30 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf.
The program of the event announced the presentation of Thomson Reuters (BlockOne SDK & Thomson Reuters Elektron Oracle) and Oraclize (Smart Contracts & APIs), the speeches of Peter Zilahy (Ethereum Foundation) on "Hacking Ethereum: lessons of failed contracts" and Jack Gavigan (zcash for) report on "the Security and privacy of the blockchain: familiarity with zcash for" and, of course, competition hackers.
Partners of the hackathon are Oraclize, CryptoCompare, Barclays, Imperial College London and other companies.
Recall that this is not the first hackathon associated with Ethereum. A few days ago, the team has announced the second annual hackathon for developers of Ethereum. The aim of the competition is to create a potential Killer App for Ethereum ecosystem. As a reward, the winner of the hackathon will receive a substantial $50 thousand.
